Xi'an traffic police installed reflective raised pavement marker on Huaqing Road and the East Second Ring Road ramp to guide traffic at night to ensure safe on-ramp traffic. Reflective raised pavement marker are also known as reflective road studs or cat eyes, is used for dividing the road boundary, for safety, reducing the accidents, made from aluminium alloy attached with the reflective sheet made from the acrylic plastic sheet. This acrylic is a reflective prism glass style and available 1 or 2 sides on road stud. In addition, there will be thin layer of the coated glass in order to enhance the reflective index during night time.
Reflective road markers are used on roads and motorways across the country, and are a vital tool for motorists when driving at night, marking the path ahead by reflecting the light shined on them by the headlights of oncoming vehicles. Reflective road studs act as an audible and sensor notification that a driver is wandering out of the lane, and reflective road studs can be used in conjunction with rumble strips which are corrugated lines that make a noise when drivers drive on them.
