In roadway warning lights at crosswalks
The number of X5 road warning lights required for an in roadway warning lights system depends on the number of lanes in the road. A typical two-lane road requires five lights embedded in the road on either side of the crosswalk – ten lights in total. Lights in the roadway are placed outward from the center of the crosswalk to alert oncoming motorists in any direction. Likewise, a typical four-lane road requires seven lights facing outwards in each direction, for a total of fourteen lights.
